Drawing Matters – A Big Draw Resource Day at the M Shed Bristol
29 September 10:30–15:30

This year, the Professional Development Programme from the Campaign for Drawing is presenting seminars and training days throughout the country for teachers, art educators, museum/gallery/heritage officers, community group leaders and art development officers.

DRAW, Campaign for Drawing Associates for the South West, in collaboration with M Shed, Bristol’s newly opened state of the art museum, will host a day of presentations, participatory drawing resource sessions, ideas and discussions to support you and your organisation towards a successful Big Draw event.

The day will provide you with a greater understanding of the Campaign for Drawing and prepare you for the Big Draw with:

1.    a presentation demonstrating how drawing can be used in a variety of settings to meet a range of objectives

2.    a drawing session using a range of drawing approaches that can be adapted to your situation

3.    help to plan your own Big Draw through discussion of the benefits and practical application of different drawing activities
4.    a resource pack and Campaign for Drawing publications
You will have an opportunity to network and meet others with an interest in promoting drawing and the drawing process within organisations/settings in the South West.

Cost

Individuals: £40
